There is some truth in it for sure. We (EFS) have been sucking and playing music for like 20 some years and now even though we only get together half as often, we sound pretty good (I think). I can't believe people actually waste their time with these stupid TV shows. The maximum time I've been able to watch any of them was one time my finger got on the wrong button on the remote control and I got "stuck" on American Idol for almost 7 seconds--before I was able to find the channel selector. That's what I get for watching TV in the dark and switching channels during commercials to see what else is on. I'm still mildly scarred from the experience.
